As a distinguished alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, he has spent 45 years in the corporate world, holding leadership positions. Today, he is passionate about driving positive change as the Founder Trustee of Innovative Thought Forum, an India-centric 'think+act' tank.
He also serves as the National Vice President of Arogya Bharati and Chairs the 'Environment and Plastic Image Committee' at the Plastindia Foundation. His commitment to impactful governance extends to being an Independent Director on the boards of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd (GMDC) and Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL). Additionally, he contributes to the academic world as a member of the Board of Governors at Auro University, Surat.
His vision is to transform waste into wealth and, with this goal in mind, he actively supports waste-to-wealth initiatives.
Karan Dangayach is the Director of Accura Resources and comes with 13+ years of experience in the field of solar photovoltaics, with 70MW+ of solar plants installed as an EPC, including more than 7,000+ decentralised solar projects.
He is building Accura to be a backbone to the solar photovoltaics sector, with Accura now supplying 70% of a solar plant's value in components.
Karan is also a graduate of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at The University of Michigan and has an interest in environmental sustainability and constant improvement of processes.
